12, 2022 following a long
illness.
Born April 13, 1943, in
Honolulu, HI, she was the
daughter of Edward and
Phoebe (Roberts) Hauanio.
Carol graduated from Kaimuki High School in
Honolulu, HI.
She had been employed as a Meat Cutter in Hawaii
for 25 years.
Carol enjoyed her Thursday lunch group, visiting
friends, occasionally playing the ukulele and hula
dancing. She was a jokester, outgoing, rascally, and
warm-hearted.
She had strong family values and was a favorite
Auntie for her many nephews and nieces in Hawaii.
Carol was preceded in death by her four sisters,
Phoebe, Gladys, Edwina, and Helene, as well as her
husband Jack J. Ford of Grand Junction, CO.
Carol is survived by three brothers, Edward Hauanio
of Indianapolis, IN, Richard Hauanio of Honolulu, HI,
and Moke Hauanio of Kailua-Kona, HI.
Services have been entrusted to Brown’s Cremation
and Funeral Service, and a memorial will be held by the
family at a later date
