Maria Venegas, 74, of
Grand Junction, passed
away on July 23, 2022, at
St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Maria was born on May
16, 1948, in Chihuahua, Mexico. She married her
husband, Secundino Venegas, on August 24, 1968, in
Chihuahua.
She is survived by her mother, Espiridiona Valeriano
of Pecos, Texas; sons, Sergio Venegas of Grand
Junction, Omar Venegas of Billings, Montana, and
Edgar Venegas of Grand Junction; daughter, Marina
Ramirez of Odessa, Texas; brothers, Ismael Valeriano
and Adalberto Valeriano, both of Pecos, Texas; and 12
grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 30,
2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Martin Mortuary.
