Ian AnDonnous Koenig, 25, of Vail died Sunday, Feb 4, in Tomahawk, Wis., after a lengthy battle with skin cancer.
A funeral service will be held today in Tomahawk. A second service and burial will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, at Evergreen Memorial in Evergreen. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday with a reception following the service and burial.
Mr. Koenig was born Nov. 18, 1970, in Denver. He spent time as a young man in the Colorado mountains working in the hospitality industry. He loved music and was studying music management at the Colorado Institute of Art.
He is survived by his parents, Jann and Linda Koenig; a sister, Krysta; and grandparents, Donald and Carol Marcott, all of Tomahawk, Wis.
In lieu of monetary contributions, the family request that friends volunteer time at a local hospice.
