Mrs. Emil Lund, the wife of a prominent mining man of Red Cliff, died at the Red Cross hospital in Salida last Monday following an operation for gallstones. Mrs. Lund had recently came thru a serious operation for appendicitis, and the second operation became necessary before she had sufficiently recovered from the first to be able to withstand the ordeal.
