Zenaida Young 59, of
Fruita Colorado, passed
away on December 13,
2022. She grew up in San
Diego, California. She
met her husband Travis L.
Young in 1979 and were
married 1981. She was
married to Travis for 42
years 13 of those while he was in the Navy. They moved
back to Fruita, Colorado after his retirement. She was
the manager of housekeeping at Mesa Mall for the last
25 years.
She loved camping, fishing and her family that
included her husband, Travis, two sons, Steve and
Randy and three grandchildren; Damien, Ethan, and
Kade.
She is preceded in death by her mother Eufracia
stepfather Willie and sisters Ines and Irma.
Zenaida will be greatly missed by all her family and
friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday,
December 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM, at Callahan-Edfast
Mortuary, located at 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand
Junction, CO 81505.
