On February 21, Barbara J. Barnkow of Grand Junction,
joined her loving husband of 66 years, Carl, in Heaven
and at rest, at the age of 84.
The native of Denver, Colorado was born the last child
of both Smart and Bernice McLeod, and a distinguished
generation of four sisters and a brother. She is survived
by, and will be greatly missed by her children; David,
Susan and Paul, seven grandchildren and fourteen
great-grandchildren. Scores of nieces, nephews, fellow
congregationalists and acquaintances made over the
years will remember her fondly. Rest Peacefully, Mom.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday May
17, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, Denver,
Colorado. Arrangements by Mesa Mortuary of Grand
Junction, Colorado.
