Kathleen L. Busking, loving mother, grandmother,
sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully at her
home on January 18, 2023. She was 77 years of age.
Kathy was born on September 21, 1945 in Roggen,
Colorado to Lonnie and Bertha Dyess. After several
stops along the way, she eventually settled down in
Grand Junction and was proud to call it home for more
than 50 years. She was the secretary/bookkeeper for C
& F Food Stores for 37 of those years, working there
until her retirement in 2017. Kathy is survived by
her 3 children, Tammy Cota, Colette Frost, and Bill
Busking; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A
celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
