Shirley Reader, 85, of
Fruita CO, passed January
8, 2023.
She was born to the late
Guy and Christine Griffee
in May, 1937 in Fruita, CO.
Shirley graduated from
Fruita High School and attended Mesa College where
she studied archeology.
Shirley is survived by two children, Christie Reader
of Fruita, CO and Jack Reader of Denver, CO; and her
beloved dog, Sarah. She is also survived by nine cousins.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband in 2013.
A celebration of life for Shirley will be held Saturday,
February 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with reception to
follow, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary & Crematory,
2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, Colorado 81505.
