Erma Lopez, 79, of
Grand Junction passed
away on March 2, 2023.
She is preceded in death by
her husband, Jim Lopez.
Erma was born March 26,
1943 in Grand Junction to
parents Joe and Delfina Archuleta and grew up with her
siblings, Paul, Lena, Joe, James, Loyola, Sylvia, Angie,
and Elisha. She is survived by her sisters, Angie Settle
and Elisha Whitson.
Erma was previously married to Alex Candelaria
and had one son, Corey (Shelley) Candelaria and one
daughter, Andraya (Darrin) Laszlo. Erma has two
granddaughters, Dylan and Abby Candelaria, and many
nephews and nieces.
Erma dedicated her time to charitable causes
including the soup kitchen and volunteering at St.
Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and
sewing gifts for her family and friends. We love her and
will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, please consider a
donation in Erma’s name to the soup kitchen. Memorial
services will be held in the spring.
