Ralph Evan Dunsdon, 77, passed away at Kaiser Hospital
in Santa Rosa, CA on May 24, 2023. He was born in
Glenwood Springs,CO at Porter Hospital on January 6, 1946
to Douglas Evan and Mildred Elynor (Alexander) Dunsdon.
He attended local schools and granduated from Glenwood
Springs High School in 1964. After graduation he enlisted
in the US Air Force and was stationed in Taiwan where he
learned Mandarin Chinese. After being discharged Ralph
moved to California where he started Universal Draperies
and Real Dynasty Translations, worked at HealthRider, and
for the US Postal Service. He retired in 2005. Ralph took
several trips to China to continue his language studies of
Mandarin Chinese and was a tutor. He is preceded in death
by his parents and his older brother, Douglas Alan. He is
survived by his siblings: Bruce (Katie) of Eagle, Barry
(Peggy) of Glenwood Springs, Marsha MacAllister of Silt,
Owen of Silt, along with nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Please join us on Saturday, July 22,
2023, at the Veteran’s Park in Silt, CO from 1:00 to 3:00 to
remember Ralph’s life.
