Joe Mobley, a beloved
husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend
passed away peacefully at
his home on October 8,2023
in Grand Junction, CO.
Joe was born on March
12,1949 in Altoona,
Pennsylvania. He served
his country in the United
States Air Force during the
Vietnam War as a security
policeman and dog handler. He was honorably discharged
after four years of service. He went on to work and retire
from Mountain Bell. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling
in his RV,spending time with family and friends, and socializing with everybody he came in contact with.
Joe leaves behind his wife(Roxie), daughter(Stephanie),
step-children(Richard, Jill, Gina), brother(Tom), and many
grandchildren and great-grand children. He is preceded in
death by his parent’s and son(Michael Mobley).
The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Joe
on Sunday October 29,2023 at The Redlands Community
Center in Grand Junction from 2-4PM. Friends and family
are invited to attend.
