Our beloved father,
Andrew “Andy” “Gump”
George Murin passed away
peacefully, with his family
by his side, on June 15, 2023.
He was 83 years old.
Dad was born to the late
Andrew and Rose Murin,
in Whiting, Indiana, and
moved to Colorado when he
was a child. He graduated
from Golden High School in
1957 and joined the Army immediately thereafter serving
four years.
On April 28th, 1962, he married Joyce White. Shortly
after, he became a Colorado State Patrolman and served in
that role for 28 years before retiring.
He is survived by his four daughters Christine, Susan,
Jennifer, and Andrea: sons-in-law, sisters, brother, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce, their daughter
Carolyn, and his parents.
A private service was held in August.
