Judy was born in Mpls,
MN. to June and Donald
Gibbon. She graduated from
Edison HS in 1959. She
married Robert Larsen and
together they had 2 children, Dea and Gregg . They
moved from Mpls to Denver
where their children graduated and attended college.
After retirement they moved
to Durango where they built
a beautiful log home in the mountains. They spent 9 years
there and then moved to Grand Junction to be near sister
Diane. Robert passed away in 2012. Judy loved her sweet
dog Sasha. She loved music, especially Elvis, Neil Diamond
and all the oldies from the 50”s.
She is survived by her 2 children,Dea Larsen Fritts (Jim)
and Gregg Larsen(Kristi), her sister and best friend Diane
(Jerry) Belt and family friend Shirley Land who has given
Sasha a home. A very special Thank you to her caregivers
along the way. Those that care for dementia patients are a
very special blessing. Thank you to Hope West hospice for
your kindness and care as well.
