Minturn Lady Died at Home Friday
Mrs. Audrey Adkins of Minturn died at her home early Friday. She was about 70 years of age.
Mrs. Adkins had been in poor health for several years and moved from Denver to Gilman to be near her daughter, Mrs. Ed Chockie. When the high altitude of Gilman affected her health, she moved to Minturn.
Mrs. Chockie, who visited her mother every day, had been with her Thursday evening and when she returned Friday, found her unconscious.
The doctor pronounced death due to natural causes.
Burial was in Denver Monday.
Mrs. Adkins' husband preceded her in death several years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Corinne Chockie of Gilman and a son, Charles of Scotts Bluff, Neb.
