Frank W. Groh passed away Jan. 31 at Bethesda Care Center in Delta after a long illness. He was 83. Cremation followed in Grand Junction. Mr. Groh, a 10-year resident of Delta, was a retired engineer for the Southern Pacific Railroad with 43 years of service. Born May 30, 1901, in McCoy to Frank Sr. and Mary Groh, early settlers in the McCoy area, Frank W. Groh spent his childhood in Edwards and McCoy. He was the brother of the late Harry Groh of Delta and the late Olive Groh Brooks of Eagle. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the McCoy cemetery on May 30, 1985.
