DORA MAE GRUNDEL. Mrs. Mae GRUNDEL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank GORDON, was born August 15, 1901, in Stillwell, Oklahoma and spent her early childhood there, moving to Gypsum, Colorado with her parents at the age of 15.
She was married to William GRUNDEL September 22, 1920 at Glenwood Springs, and the couple made their home at Gypsum. During the years she lived in Gypsum valley, she made many friends and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Eagle.
Mrs. GRUNDEL had been ill for some time and was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, where she died March 19.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday by Rev. B. E. BULKLEY in the Eagle First Baptist Church. Mrs. Ray MAHANA and Mrs. Wayne HAGGART, accompanied by Sylvia KELLY sang "God Will Take Care of You," and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye."
Interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Gypsum, directed by Farnum Mortuary of Glenwood. Pallbearers included Bill GORDON, Herman ERICKSON, Bill BINDLEY, John BERTROCH, Dick KELLY and F. H. REYNOLDS.
Mrs. GRUNDEL is survived by her husband and one daughter, Ruth; her mother, Mrs. Dora GORDON of Gypsum; one sister, Oda SCHULTZ of Edwards and three brothers.
