FORMER EDWARDS LADY DIED IN GRAND JUNCTION.
Mrs. Mary James, 72, for 28 years a resident of Edwards, passed away at her home n Grand Junction Monday. Mary Roberts was born Oct. 3, 1875, at Dodgeville, Wis. She moved with her parents to Kokomo near Dillon when she was a small girl, and moved to Leadville in 1893. She was married to David James in Leadville in 1894, where the couple resided until 1901, when they moved to Edwards. Mr. James died in 1927, and two years later Mrs. James moved to Grand Junction to live until the time of her death. Funeral services were held in Leadville Wednesday. Surviving are 9 daughters: Mrs. H. L. Bardsley of Wolcott; Mrs. Harry Carters Leadville; Mrs. James Blair, Whitewater, and Mrs. Ray Unselt, Mrs. James Lloyd, Mrs. Joe Morgan, Mrs. Albert Peterson Mrs. Clifton Humes and Mrs. Allie Rinderle all of Grand Junction; one son, Edward, of Grand Junction; a sister, Mrs. Della Falls of Seattle, Wash.; 42 grand children and four great grandchildren.
