Mary Aileen Johns, 56, a native of GIlman, died at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood June 7. She had been ill for 3 weeks. Born Mary Aileen Olfs on May 12, 1910 at Gilman, she spent her childhood there and attended high school at Aspen. In 1937 she married Frank L. Johns at Alhambra, CA. Mr. and Mrs. Johns made their home in Basalt for hte past 9 years. Survivors include her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Alhu Bionaz of Snowmass and Mrs. Fred (Agnes) Shilling of Carbondale; three brothers, Edward Duffy and John Olf, both of Gilman and Bernard Duffy of Cripple Creek.
