Mrs. Hazel COLLINS, former teacher at Red Cliff, died January 18, 1962 at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, following an illness of several months.
Born Hazel PIERCE in 1894 at Salida, she lived in Minturn as a girl. She was educated in Grand Junction and graduated from Colorado State College of Education at Greeley.
Mrs. Collins taught in Red Cliff for several years, retiring [ ] spring.
Among her survivors are a daughter, Helen PACHEK, of Pueblo, and two sisters, Mrs. Paul J[ ] of Greeley and Mrs. LYNCH of Grand Junction.
Burial was in Greeley Saturday. County Superintendent of Schools J. W. MACKEY went from Red Cliff for the funeral.
