S. A. BUFFINGTON DIED IN RIFLE HOSPITAL.
Samuel Arthur BUFFINGTON, 81, of DeBeque died Friday morning in Clagett Memorial Hospital in Rifle.
Mr. BUFFINGTON had lived in DeBeque from 1922 until 1937 and again since 1942. At various times he lived in Kansas, Eagle and Pando, Colorado.
He was born at Delphos, Kans. Jan. 31 1882 and spent his early life there. He was married to Nellie SMITH May 19, 1901 at Delphos.
The couple first came to Colorado in 1916, settling at Eagle.
He is survived by his wife; a son Allen of Silt; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Grace) SATTERFIELD of Derby Junction and Mrs. Lester (Dollie) SATTERFIELD of Range; a sister, Mrs. Mike GRIFFIN of Glasco, Kans.; 14 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were in DeBeque Tuesday.
