MRS DAN CLARDY BURIED IN EAGLE WEDNESDAY
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church in Eagle Wednesday afternoon for the late Mrs. Dan Clardy, who passed away in Grand Junction Monday. Burial was in the Eagle cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of the Andre Funeral Home.

Ida May Peterson was born in McQuon, Ill., on Sept. 11,1873 and passed away in Grand Junction on Feb. 9, 1948, following a lingering illness. She had been a resident of Eagle for 27 years before going to Grand Junction last fall with Mr. Clardy, where she lived at the time of her death. The Clardys resided at one time in Red Cliff and also in Rifle before moving to Eagle, coming to Colorado from Wyoming. Mr. Clardy operated a drayage business here until ill health forced him to retire from active life. Surviving Mrs. Clardy are her husband and five children, Helen Terrill of Dixon, Wyoming; Pauline Lewis of Sheridan, Wyoming; Rachel Dougherty of Gypsum; John of Santa Rosa, California and Jim of Eagle. Pall bearers at the funeral were Les Randall, Melvin Eaton, Fred Colby, Frank Newcomer, Bernard Ginther, and Curtis Hight. All of the children were present for the services but Mrs. Lewis, who is ill. V
