Floyd Dale BOWERS, 66, of Gypsum died in Mountain View Nursing Home in Glenwood June 5, 1964, following an illness of six years.
A resident of Gypsum for the past 11 years, Mr. BOWERS was born at Berthoud, Colo. October 28, 1897. He spent his childhood at Berthoud and Delta and on Feb. 4, 1943 was married to Mary E. Doolittle at Reno, Nev.
He retired after 32 years with the Holly Sugar Co.
Mr. BOWERS was a member of the Christian Church and Modern Woodmen of the World.
He is survived by his wife; two sons: Charles and Rodney of Gypsum; one daughter, Genevieve LIGHTFOOT of Portland, Ore., his mother, Josephine of Montrose and two grandchildren.
The funeral and interment were in Montrose.
