John Joseph FLYNN, 71, of Glenwood Springs died at the Veterans Hospital in Grand Junction June 8.
He was born Dec.23, 1897 at Spruce Creek near Glenwood, and as a young man lived in the Eagle area.
He married Adelia THORNDALE at Leadville, Oct.25, 1930.
Mr. FLYNN was a retired railroad telegrapher and a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his wife; a son, John Joseph, Jr., of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Glenna LANE of Leadville; a brother, James of Grand Junction and a sister Mrs. Katherine Gill of Los Angeles.
Farnum Mortuary of Glenwood was in charge of burial arrangements and following services at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Glenwood, interment was in Eagle.
