Former Eagle resident Frank Hulett, 69, died March 12 in Denver at Veteran's Hospital following open heart surgery. Hulett resided in Eagle County for many years, making his home near the Piney and in the Wolcott area. HE worked as a ranch hand in the area. His employers included the Diamond J Ranch, Leonard Horn, and Chet Mayer of the Eagle Ranch Company. A recent feature story in the Enterprise included a 1930 picture of Hulett driving a mowing team on the Eagle Ranch. In 1947, Hulett left Eagle County and moved to Eckert, in Delta County. He is survived by his wife, Audrey; a daughter, Wanda; two sisters, Helen Head and Mary Neckley, and two brothers, Floyd and Jim Hulett. Funeral services will be held on Saturday in Eckert.
