The contents were from an Eagle County, Colorado, community Valentine event sent to a dozen men and women from Eagle County serving in Operation Desert Storm in February 1991, sponsored by the Eagle Valley Enterprise newspaper. The Valentine appeared in the February 14, 1991 edition of the Eagle Valley Enterprise.
